Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry of Highland Baptist is a ministry born out of a deep burden for the challenges and struggles that Christian women face as they struggle to live for Christ in today’s world; and a burden for lost women who try in vain to meet the expectations of society only to find frustration and emptiness.  We know that Jesus Christ is the answer and that in building a strong Christian community; we can do as the Lord teaches in Titus 2…love, teach, help and encourage one another. As we grow spiritually and as a community of believers, we can better fulfill the calling of reaching the world for Christ. Please join us as we grow inward and reach outward.  

Encouragement:
A team that focuses on the ministry of encouragement to the women of this fellowship and community, as the Lord gives us opportunity, in times of illness, death, life changes, family challenges and much more. This team reaches out to new members to help them feel welcome and become a part of the Highland family. They will also focus on lifting up the women of this fellowship and their families in intercessory prayer through the Prayer Tree. Bible Study:
In cooperation with the Educational Ministries of Highland Baptist, this team assesses needs and organizes Bible Studies that focus on the unique issues faced by women as they grow in Christ and serve Him. Special Events:
